Harvest Festival Report
Church Family
This past week we have truly experienced a mighty moving of Gods Spirit
through the actions of all who were involved in the Harvest outreaches
held on the campuses of Lighthouse Christian Center and Alta Loma 1st
Assembly of God church. Through the efforts of a great team of volunteers
we saw hundreds of children, and their parents touched by the generosity
of the Lord. Candy was handed out by the bag full. Prepared food was served
to all in attendance, and bags of food were distributed to the families
that were in need of assistance. Each year we think, how is God going
to increase and expand this outreach, and each year He does. The combined
ministries of Alta Loma 1st Assembly, Lighthouse Christian Center and
Trinity Resource Network exposed the heart of the people that were involved
to see lives impacted for the kingdom of God. We won't know the full extent
of this outreach until we get to heaven, but we already experience the
blessing of the Lord through His provision for us. Seeing familiar faces,
and meeting new families seem to be the theme for all. How wonderful to
know that God has chosen us to flow through into the lives of so many,
for His Glory. We know that there was at least 4 other congregations in
attendance as well as many others who had never experienced the safe and
peaceful presence of the Lord. This is a premiere outreach for us each
year. Last year we saw approximately 25 families brought into the church
family through this night of fun, and food. Many are connected to other
ministries. 7 or 8 were saved on the spot thanks to the E.E. team member
on site. What will God do this year? More I'm sure. Let us rejoice in
the goodness and the greatness of our God. A big thanks goes out to all
that gave of their time, talents and treasure. Your reward is great in
heaven and your love is seen by all.
